Biography

South Carolina based music producer KirbyBright is known for his colorful, genuine personality while slinging authentic diverse sounds from wubs and womps, to whimsical lofi and jazz hop. Kirby's expertise shines best when he is performing on stage demonstrating the flow of his own unique style; Using a MPC with 16 pads (each with their own distinct sound) he adds a unique live experience to electronic bass music for his audience to see being created right before them in real time as each button is pressed. The ability to produce rapid live drum patterns and melodic euphoria's on the spot in a one-shot manner is hard to come by, and Kirby's finger drumming skill is sure to keep any observer engaged.

His live mpc routines- some created uniquely for each festival or city- are always a crowd favorite. These are usually only played once, completely live for that specific crowd leaving fans eager to return the following year in hopes of hearing what Kirby will do next.

With roots in the flow arts, Kirby is still a big advocate and can often be found spinning a flowstar, poi or double hoops in a crowd while interacting with fans & supporting the festival community when he's off the stage.

Kirby has performed at festivals such as Imagine, Sol Fest, Sound Haven, Backwoods Music Festival, Solasta Music Festival, The Untz, Electric Forest Official Renegades, Summer Camp, Yonderville, and many more. Kirby has shared the stage with legendary producers such as Yheti, Mt. Analogue, McWavy, Josh Teed, Mantis, ill. Gates, Coki, Dirt Wire, Tauk, Antennae, and many others at shows throughout the country. Kirby occasionally offers a full live band experience (Kirby Bright Live Band / Scrumptious), which intertwines his unique electronic sound with masterful live band improvisation.
